Bombay to Hyderabad
As a result of the Nizam of Hyderabad offering an annual subsidy of Rs20,000, Tata Sons Ltd changed the itinerary of the Karachi-Madras service, Hyderabad being inserted in place of Bellary. The first service affected by the change (IE.301) left London on 29 December 1934, the mail arriving in Hyderabad on 7 January 1935.
The airport for Hyderabad was at Bolarum, from where mail was sent by rail to Hyderabad City.
