34-76: Cover flown from Lahore to Multan in December 1934.
Franked with Chamba State tramps and cancelled Chamba State, Chamba 6 Dec.34.
Mail franked with convention State stamps was inadmissible for transmission by airmail, mail so was sent by surface transport. However, a mail of about 62 letters was despatched from Chamba to the various points on the first service (outward and inward) and, according to Francis Field, was carried by air. This must be doubt as covers seen do not bear the first flight cachet.

First Flight by Indian National Airways
Lahore to Karachi, 4th December 1934
Cover flown from Lahore to Karachi,

ISC 34-71: Flown Lahore to Karachi, and then onwards to destination at Pernambut, N. Arcot, S. India. The cover is a private commemorative cover and franked 3 annas and is interestingly cancelled PERNAMBUT / 3.15 P.M. / 25 NOV 31. This is 9 days before the boxed cancellation of the first Lahore - Karachi flight and lends mystery to how the 25th November cancellation was applied. On the reverse is the arrival mark PERNAMBUT 9 DEC 34.
