34-76: Cover flown from Lahore to Multan in December 1934.
Franked with Chamba State tramps and cancelled Chamba State, Chamba 6 Dec.34.
Mail franked with convention State stamps was inadmissible for transmission by airmail, mail so was sent by surface transport. However, a mail of about 62 letters was despatched from Chamba to the various points on the first service (outward and inward) and, according to Francis Field, was carried by air. This must be doubt as covers seen do not bear the first flight cachet.
